Our responsibilities

When we develop our products, we always do so with a view to the long-term. We never compromise our core values: safety, quality and design. This makes our products durable and means that they can be used for a long time and inherited by one child from another.

We are extremely careful in our choice of materials, and all our products undergo rigorous testing. Materials that come into contact with food have been classified safe for use with food, and textiles that come into contact with the child’s skin are all approved according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class 1. We are extremely picky in choosing our suppliers, and constantly check to ensure that our high standards are being met at every step of the production process and in all countries.

We have also decided to lower the environmental impact of development, production and distribution of BabyBjörn products. In addition to following all existing laws and regulatory requirements, we pledge to consistently work to further minimize our footprint on the environment. One example of a step in this direction is our new organic line, launched in 2009.
